CALL FOR PAPERS
for TAJIT's 2020 Annual Conference
The Texas Association of Judiciary Interpreters and Translators (TAJIT) will have a very special conference in 2020. We are holding our conference in tandem with the Texas Society of Interpreters for the Deaf (TSID) in College Station, July 11 & 12, 2020. This means that interpreters registering for one conference will be able to register for sessions in the other conference for a nominal fee.
This partnership with TSID furthers TAJIT’s commitment to excellence in the field for all interpreting professionals in the State of Texas. To that end, this year we are putting out a Call for Papers to give all our members and other professionals in related fields an opportunity to share their knowledge and expertise with colleagues in both spoken and sign language.
If you would like to present during TAJIT’s 2020 Annual Conference, please submit a proposal by email in a Word or PDF attachment to email@example.com. The proposal must contain the following information:
The TAJIT Conference Committee will receive proposals until January 17, 2020 and will let you know by January 31, 2020 whether your proposal has been accepted.
If your proposal is accepted, you will receive further instructions on the specifics of your presentation so it may be submitted to JBCC for continuing education approval.
Circle those dates on your calendars!
